No we shouldn’t. Best is vacuum seal it & store at cool place. Normally I will wrap it it several layers of cling film, put it in a box & place in a cool place.

Jessica
Hi Jess,
I have a few questions.
1. What is the shelf life of the paste?
2. Do we store it in the fridge?
3. Can we make half batch, because I want to mix colors in the mixer otherwise the darker colors become very soft after adding color. How do you add the dark colors?
Looking forward to your help xx

Urooj
Hi there,
1. Shelf life depends on the weather and how you store it. If you vacuum seal and keep it in moderate condition without high humidity or change in temperature or extreme dryness, it can stay good for 6-8 months.
2. You can keep in the fridge, but not too long because basically it will become quite dry in the fridge.
3. Yes, make half recipe if you don’t use up the big batch quickly.
Best,
Jessica
