Hi there,
I glazed the leaves in confectioner’s gla e ,half-half recipe, half glaze half lemon extract.i showed the techniques in lesson about making leaves.
Thanks
Jessica
For wire petals, I always roll out the paste on the groove board as thin as possible but not until it begin to tear. Rice paste is easy to roll out so you can make it as thin as you feel safe.
Best,
J
Hi Jess , love your class. How many hours you left the petals to dry before dusting them? Are the petals drying hard or they will be flexible still after a couple of days? Thank you for your time. XO
Hi,
Thank you for joining. It depends on the humidity in my place, normally 3-4 hours in air-conditioned room ( about 50% humidity). The petals will dry hard in dry condition but they become a bit like flexible in high humidity ( above 65%) and are not easy to fall down like sugar.
Best,
Jessica
Hi Jessica
The squires kitchen cutters are not available to purchase at the moment. Can you please measure the sizes you have used for the roses.
Thank you
Hannah
